Labelium becomes certified as a Carbon Neutral® company in all of its Americas markets, in accordance with The Carbon-Neutral Protocol, the leading global framework for carbon neutrality.
At Labelium, we believe strongly in creating a positive impact for our teams, our clients, our environment, and our communities. We are delighted to announce that as of July 2021, Labelium has been certified as a CarbonNeutral ® company for all of its Americas markets in accordance with The Carbon-Neutral Protocol, the leading global framework for carbon neutrality. For us, this is a critical milestone on our journey towards building for the future.
What does carbon neutrality mean?
To achieve CarbonNeutral® certification, we have partnered with the leading experts on carbon neutrality and climate finance, Natural Capital Partners. We had an independent assessment of the greenhouse gas emissions produced across our operations.
It also means that in addition to reducing our absolute emissions through a gradual set of internal measures, we are also supporting several forestry, resource recovery & renewable energy projects to offset the areas of our business that still leave room for improvement. All of these projects are independently verified to assure that emissions reduction is occurring. This ensures the highest environmental integrity in our work to have an immediate, positive impact on the climate.
What will we do next?
When it comes to protecting the environment, there is always more we can do. Our next goal is to establish Science-Based targets for the year to come, undertake additional emissions reductions initiatives internally, sustain our carbon neutrality over the years and maintain Carbon Impact Transparency through yearly sustainability reporting.

The Carbon Neutral Protocol is the global standard for carbon-neutral programs. Created by Natural Capital Partners, it was the first clear set of guidelines for businesses to achieve carbon neutrality back in 2002. Every year since the Protocol is revised and updated annually to reflect developments in climate science, international policy, standards, and business practice.
